EVENTS:
All competitive events will be announced with event rules posted on this website. There will be NO MYSTERY EVENTS. It is suggested participants bring and use their own tools for all events. However, in the case use of their own tools is not possible, tools will be provided at each event. ALL EVENT RULES CAN BE ACCESSED BY CLICKING EACH LINK BELOW.
REMINDER: Events must be completed in the sequence they are assigned to maintain the schedule and fairness of the competition. If events are backed up, competitors must receive authorization from the master judge to rotate out of sequence. Event rotation flow will be monitored and enforced. Teams and individuals will have 45 minutes between events and will have to check in with the event judges when they arrive at the event. Event rotation schedules will be distributed with registration packets. Score sheets will include a check-in/check-out time. Judges will also have a schedule with check-in/check-out times as well as team and individual names so that participants can be located more easily for enforcement.
*An apprentice is defined by their status effective on the date of the Rodeo. If the winning apprentice from the Tennessee Valley Lineman Rodeo is not eligible to compete as an apprentice in the APPA or International Lineworker Rodeo, the entry fees and stipend will go to the next winning apprentice who is eligible to compete.
